Building a Community of Hope and Support around Li-Fraumeni Syndrome
Jenn Perry lives with Li-Fraumeni syndrome (LFS), a hereditary cancer predisposition syndrome caused by a germline TP53 mutation that carries significant lifetime cancer risk across multiple cancer types. In this episode, Jenn shares her experience receiving the diagnosis, navigating intensive surveillance, and channeling her experience into building community and support for others on the same path. She discusses the emotional and practical realities of living with one of the higher-penetrance hereditary cancer syndromes, and what it has meant to find and help create solidarity within the LFS community.
